This ad is sort of like a riddle - it's witty, bold, and trendy. The shapes of the little girls and the teeter-totter blend in well with the way the camouflage was drawn. Camouflage can be seen in a lot of clothes made in the last ten years, and dog tags were somewhat popular as well, so this ad could appeal to people through its relation to fashion. Obviously it also speaks to soldiers and veterans. The figures' action represents an accurate situation in which bug repellent would be used.
